Vailly-sur-Aisne, 22 May 2026 — The Val de l'Aisne community tourist office presented its 2026 season programme yesterday evening at the Vailly village hall. More than 80 events are scheduled from May to October.

Three highlights

A guided-tour series on the Chemin des Dames. Every first Saturday of the month, a heritage guide takes visitors along a themed route: "Artists in the Great War", "The geology of the ridge", "April 1917, week by week".

A wine route along the Aisne. Five summer Sundays, by bike between Bourg-et-Comin and Soupir, meeting the winemakers of the southern part of the territory, at the edge of Champagne.

A new multilingual audio-guide. Free, in French, English, Spanish and German, downloadable on smartphone.

Markets and recurring events

Weekly markets resume at Vailly (Wednesday morning), Braine (Saturday morning) and Bourg-et-Comin (Friday late afternoon). Music Day takes place at Braine on 22 June, and the community fireworks at Bourg-et-Comin on 14 July.
