About us
Established in 2013, the Grand Villeneuvois agglomeration (CAGV) is a public inter-municipal cooperation body with its own taxation power. It gathers 19 villages in the south of the Lot-et-Garonne department, strung along the eponymous valley between the urban centres of Agen and Bergerac.
Its head office stands in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, in a renovated Picard farmhouse. The CAGV acts alongside the 52 municipal councils to carry projects that exceed the village scale: economic development, mobility, planning, waste, tourism.
